European Express & Worldwide Express/Economy – Air surcharges:
All door to door courier shipments will be charged at a rate of 11.5% for this current period.
Carousel has adopted an approach which makes us competitive within the courier industry.
We will review two of the leading courier companies prices on a monthly basis and apply a discount of up to 2.0% from the average % they charge.
The leading courier companies’ charges are index-based which means that they will fluctuate in line with the movements of international fuel prices. As of 1 January 2009 DHL and UPS are both passing on an average door to door fuel surcharge of 13%.
Worldwide Saver Service
Fuel charges for all air and sea freight services will be based on the anticipated buy rate at the time of shipping; dependant on the supplier used. The actual rate will be added at the time of shipping.
